Hebrews 11:6 says, "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." God would be unjust if He were to demand something of us and not give us the means to obtain it. But God is not unjust, and He has given us the means to not only have faith but to develop it and make it grow. Romans 10:17 says, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Faith to believe and to please God comes to us through the Word of God. As we set ourself to hear and receive God's Word on any subject, it will cause faith to come to us. Salvation, healing, prosperity, deliverance or whatever you need in your life will be met by faith that is built and established on God's Word.
Ephesians 2:8 says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God." By faith we accept Jesus as our Lord and receive salvation into our life. At the moment of salvation, God imparts faith into our heart. Romans 12:3 says, "For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith." Every person that is born-again has a measure of the God-kind of faith. This measure of faith can be developed to receive whatever we need from God.
Joshua 1:8 is a key to building a strong overcoming faith. As we meditate on God's Word, it builds faith in us that believes and receives. This week I want to give you an outline to help you build strong faith for healing. Follow these steps and then meditate on these Bible verses until faith for healing becomes stronger than the devil's attack. As we develop our faith, healing becomes a reality in our lives.
